Chag HaMatzah

Nisan 21st

Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in YHWH your Elohim: for He has given you the Moreh (former rain) moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the Gesher (winter rain) , the Moreh (former rain) , and the Malkosh (latter rain) in the first month.  And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. Joel 2:23-24

Come, and let us return unto YHWH: for He has torn, and He will heal us; He has smitten, and He will bind us up.  2  After two days will He revive us: in the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.  3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know YHWH: His going forth is prepared as the morning; and He shall come unto us as the rain , as the latter Malkosh (root word Laqash, meaning to gather) and former rain Yarah (root word meaning to teach). Hosea 6:1

That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the Yoreh first rain and the Malkosh latter rain, that you may gather in your corn, and your wine, and your oil. Deuteronomy 11:14

Then all the men of Judah and Benjamin gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem within three days. It was the ninth month, on the twentieth day of the month; and all the people sat in the street of the house of Elohim, trembling because of this matter, and for the Geshem (great rain). Ezra 10: 9

Thou, O Elohim, didst send a Geshem (plentiful rain), whereby You did confirm Your inheritance, when it was weary. Psalm 68: 9

The former rain Yoreh in Israel are the first rains beginning on the last day of Feast of Tabernacles, each year in Jerusalem I have witnessed the former rain begin on the last day of the Moed.  This rain lightly showers some parts of the city but not all areas.  As winter approaches the intensity of the rain increases until the Gesher winter rains arrives.  The winter rains often cause massive torrents of water to boil over banks and rapidly leaves great damage to roadways or whatever stands in its way.  The Malkosh latter rain falls upon melilot (ripe ears), as well as on the kash (stalks).

“When you come into the standing corn of your neighbour, then you may pluck the melila (ears) with your hand; Devarim 23:25

We have now celebrated the Pesach, experienced a most blessed Seder, waved the omer, and have eaten Matzah since Pesach this is the eighth day of the Chag, and the last day of Chag HaMatzah.  This Moed has brought remarkable revelations through each soul, we have been strengthened in HaMashiyach by His Spirit, and in YHWH’s Word together as a Body.  On this last day of Feast of Unleavened Bread we must now remember well the Song of Moshe and the Song of the Lamb for it is on this day of the latter rain that we truly begin a new year with a new experience and a renewed calling in haMashiyach.

Ask of YHWH rain in the time of the latter rain; so YHWH shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field.  For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.  Mine anger was kindled against the shepherds, and I punished the goats: for YHWH of hosts has visited His flock the house of Judah, and has made them as his goodly horse in the battle.  Out of him came forth the corner, out of him the nail, out of him the battle bow, out of him every oppressor together.  And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because YHWH is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.  And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am YHWH their Elohim, and will hear them.  And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in YHWH.  I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.  Zechariah 10:1-8

Ya’akov HaTsaddiq exhorted us; James 5:7  Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Master. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

We remember Y’shua as He made His way up to Jerusalem to celebrate His last Feast together with us while He was here in body with us:

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.. the multitudes were drawn to Him, he was altogether merciful and just.  Matthew 20: 29

We are part of the multitude who recognize Him for Who He was, is, and Who He will be when He returns.  On the 10th of Nisan Y’shua entered into Jerusalem and commanded us.

Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes unto you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.  And the disciples went, and did as Y’shua commanded them,  And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set Him thereon.  And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.  Matthew 21:5-8

Many shouted “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of YHWH”

HaMashiyach made His way into the Temple, He turned over tables declaring the temple was intended as a House of Prayer, not a den of thieves to be used as an opportunity to steal from the poor.

And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on you henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.  And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!  Y’shua answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If you have faith, and doubt not, you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if you shall say unto this mountain, Be removed, and be cast into the sea; it shall be done.  And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.  And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as He was teaching, and said, By what authority do You these things? and who gave you this authority?  Matthew 21:19-23

The fig tree represented the house of judges the Sanhedrin or the “rabbinical seat of authority”.  Y’shua cursed the tree because it had no fruit and it will never produce fruit within the parameters of which it operates.  The fig tree represents the tree of knowledge of good and evil, Adam and Eve made themselves a covering of fig leaves when they found themselves to be in disunity with YHWH.  The fig tree also represents the institutions of man where men give other men “authority” not by YHWH but by religion even Pastoral Ordinations, Doctorates, Masters Degrees, Semikha etc.  The leaders of Israel were threatened by Y’shua because He had the One True and Righteous Authority that was not under their control, think about it, you would probably be a bit nervous yourself if you were a leader when haMashiyach came to town.

For several days Y’shua was scrutinized by the P’rushim, Tz’dukim and all those who questioned his ha’Mishchah (anointing) as haMashiyach.

While the P’rushim were gathered together, Y’shua asked them, Saying, What are your thoughts about Mashiyach? whose son is he? They said unto him, The Son of David.  Y’shua said unto them, how then does David in spirit call him Adon, saying,  YHWH said unto my Adon, sit thou on my right hand, till I make your enemies your footstool?  If David then call him Adon, how is he David’s son?  And no man was able to answer him a word, neither dared any man from that day forth ask him another sh’eilah (question).  Matthew 22: 41-46

When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and  washed his hands  before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person:  Matthew 27:24

The verdict was that Y’shua was without blemish, none could find fault in him, haMashiyach was the perfect Lamb of Elohim who was to take away the sins of the world.

Again the word of YHWH came unto me, saying,  Thus says YHWH, the Elohim of Israel; Like these good figs , so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.  For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.  And I will give them a heart to know me, that I am YHWH: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.  And as the evil  figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus says YHWH, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:  And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.  Jeremiah 24:4-9

Figs here represent a certain kind of people, notice that the evil figs are removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.  The fact of the matter is the party is not over, YHWH is not finished fulfilling His Word against the “evil figs”.

And the trees said to the fig tree, Come and reign over us. But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?  Then said the trees unto the vine, Come and reign over us.  And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheers Elohim and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?  Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come and reign over us.  And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth you anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon.  Now therefore, if you have done truly and sincerely, in that you have made Abimelech king, and if you have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands;  For my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:  And you are risen up against my father’s house this day, and have slain his sons, seventy persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;  If you then have dealt truly and sincerely with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:  But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech.  And Jotham ran away, and fled, and went to Beer, and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.  Judges 9:10-21

Seventy is an extremely important number, representing leadership, counsel, and authority in the Kingdom of Elohim.

Shemot (Exodus) 1:5  And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls:

Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:  And they saw the Elohim of Israel: and there was under His feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in His clearness.  Shemot 24:9-11

Y’shua rejected the false leadership of His day, infuriating the “establishment”, He is a revolutionist advocating for major changes that require a return to YHWH’s authority according to Torah.  Today (as I write this) is Nisan the 21st according to the authority of YHWH and His Torah calendar.  On this last and seventh day of Hag ha-Matza Shemot 12:17-20 we must remember and pay very close attention not only to the present and prophetic calendar, but also to the state of the Body of Mashiyach.

On this 21st Day of Nisan

The Israelites camped at Migdol (the tower), towards PiHachiroth (the mouth of the gorge),

opposite from Baal Tz’fon (lord of the north)

And YHWH went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:  He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.  And YHWH spoke unto Moshe, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before PiHachiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baal Tz’fon: before it shall you encamp by the sea. Shemot 13:21-14:2

Moshe tells the Israelites, remain steady see the Y’shua of YHWH:  And Moshe said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of YHWH, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom you have seen to day, you shall see them again no more for ever. YHWH shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.  Shemot 14:13-14

The Israelites are baptized in the Red sea on this day.  Shemot (Exodus) 14:26-29

YHWH removed the wheels from the Egyptian chariots.  Shemot 14:24-25

YHWH destroys Pharaoh’s army, chariots, and horses with water. Shemot 14:21-28

Moshe and Miriam sing the song of Moses to YHWH Elohim.  Shemot 15

Yehoshua (Joshua) and the Israelites marched around Jericho and the walls come down and Jericho is destroyed.  Yehoshua 5-6

David sings a song that the “Ruach of YHWH” spoke through him  2 Samuel 22

The Song of Moshe

Modern translations state “sang” the song of Moses, the Hebrew is future tense, literally they “will sing” the song of Moses.

Shemot 15:1-21  Then will sing Moshe and the children of Israel this song unto YHWH, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto YHWH, for He has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.  YHWH is my strength and song, and He is become my Y’shua (salvation): He is my Elohim, and I will prepare Him a habitation; my father’s Elohim, and I will exalt him.  YHWH is a Man of war: YHWH is His name.  Pharaoh’s chariots and his host has He cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.  The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.  Your right hand, O YHWH, is become glorious in power: your right hand, O YHWH, has dashed in pieces the enemy.  And in the greatness of Your Excellency You have overthrown them that rose up against YouYou sent forth Your wrath, which consumed them as stubble.  And with the blast of Your nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as a heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.  The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.  You did blow with Your wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.  Who is like unto You, O YHWH, among the gods? who is like You, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?  You stretch out Your right hand, the earth swallowed them.  You in Your mercy have led forth the people which You have redeemed: You have guided them in Your strength unto Your holy habitation.  The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.  Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.  Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of your arm they shall be as still as a stone; till your people pass over, O YHWH, till the people pass over, which You have purchased.  You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, in the place, O YHWH, which You have made for thee to dwell, in the Sanctuary, O YHWH, which your hands have established.  YHWH shall reign for ever and ever.  For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and YHWH brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

And they sing the Song of Moshe the servant Elohim, and the Song of the Lamb,

saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, YHWH Elohim El Elyon; just and true are Your ways,

Thou King of Saints. Revelations 15:3

Today those who walk in Moshe and HaMashiyach are singing the song of Moshe and the song of the Lamb, albeit we need help with the words and melody, but YHWH winks at our ignorance, we have all experienced the weight of heavy handed taskmasters who hate the Way of YHWH.  The Song of Moshe is sung by our daily lives in HaMashiyach and by the authority of YHWH and His Torah.  The Song is sung when HaMashiyach is lifted up above all other authority and identity and followed.

Today we must declare what Y’shua HaMashiyach commanded His Talmidim.

Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King comes!

Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David2 Samuel 5:7

Nevertheless David took the strong hold of Zion: the same is the city of David.  1 Kings 8:1

And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, you shall not come hither. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.  1 Chronicles 11:5

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?  The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against YHWH, and against His Mashiyach saying  Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.  He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: YHWH shall have them in derision.  Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.  Yet have I set my King upon My Holy Hill of Zion.  I will declare the decree: YHWH has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten You.  Ask of Me, and I shall give You the heathen for Thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for Thy possession.  You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.  Be wise now therefore, O you kings: be instructed, you judges of the earth.  Serve YHWH with fear, and rejoice with trembling.  Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.  Psalm 2:1-12

And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of YHWH, to the house of the Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of YHWH from JerusalemIsaiah 2:3

For out of the north there comes up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.  In those days, and in that time, says YHWH, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek YHWH their Elohim.  They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces forward, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to YHWH in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.  My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.  All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against YHWH, the habitation of justice, even YHWH, the hope of their fathers.  Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.  For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from there she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.  And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, says YHWH.

Jeremiah 50:3-10

Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in YHWH your Elohim: for He has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. Joel 2:23

Tsiyon (Zion) is the One and the Only Kingdom of Elohim, the daughter of Tsiyon are those who YHWH has called and is calling into His Kingdom.  It is not difficult to see how hasatan has corrupted many souls against Zion, if you’re not sure about this ask around and see how many souls are pro-zionists.  Zionism has become a hate word for many souls, many self hating Jews also despise the word Zionism, some despise Tsiyon so much they have a full time agenda to teach evil to be good and good to be evil.  As we sing the Song of Moshe the distinctions set forth in this song become our distinctions, it becomes “our song”.  The right hand of YHWH is HaMashiyach, the Torah is the Work of HaMashiyach, the Torah is our heritage in Him.

I trust that have noticed that sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.  This place called Palestina is also mentioned in Isaiah 14:31-32  Howl, O gate; cry, O city; you, whole Palestina, are dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.  What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That YHWH has founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

Having intellectual knowledge about Tsiyon or only knowing about the Song of Moshe does not provide anyone passage into TsiyonTsiyon is a way of being which distinguishes YHWH’s people from the wicked.  Great sorrow shall overtake those who do not have Tsiyon in their hearts.  Tsiyon is about knowing HaMashiyach who is YHWH, and His servant Moshe and the Torah of YHWH.  It is about the people of YHWH taking ground from the enemy by the authority of the Ruach HaKodesh.  Y’shua established His Father YHWH’s authority to be implanted within the Body of Mashiyach, you and I.  Where two or three are gathered in His Name the authority of the Righteous Seat of Moshe is established according to the Spirit of HaMashiyach.

Hasatan has managed to deceive many people by naming the Land of Israel after the enemies of YHWH.  The name of Palestine is the illegitimate horror story fraught with demons and destruction.  The deceiver has made the Holy Word and meaning of Zion to become curse on the lips of many people.  YHWH has allowed the enemies of Israel to come against the land, kill the Jews and plunder the land because Israel has been wondering in spiritual Egypt for a very long time.

Babylon has wreaked hell upon Israel, the Catholics own and control huge parcels of land in Jerusalem and all throughout the country.  False religious institutions and every abominable thing is making war against Tsiyon each day, also with the help of many self hating Jews, Christians and Moslems many are not ignorant of the things of righteousness, but choose open rebellion against YHWH and Tsiyon.

On this 21st day of Nisan each one must inquire of his own soul.  Can you sing the Song of Moshe and the Song of the Lamb today?  How well can you sing this Song, a New Year has now begun how will you better sing the Song of Moshe in this upcoming year?  The old year has passed, we cannot look to or rely on our “fruits” in HaMashiyach of the last year.

Our gathering together on the Moedim is to hold a Feast unto YHWH, our singing and dancing is not about what has happened in the past, it is about what the Melech Ha Melachim is about to do.  We gather today because we serve a Living Elohim, His Torah is Life and Freedom and it prepares for the future.  From this day on we shall do mighty exploits in the Name of YHWH and in His Mashiyach.  Today we will speak to our hearts and tell our hearts to walk upright and sing the song of Moshe and the song of the Lamb.  We will be as David knowing Mashiyach Ben David is coming swiftly, and He shall not relent in bringing forth Judgment unto Victory!

After Y’shua arose, He tarried for 40 days with His people and He said.  Luke 24:49-53  And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until you be endued with power from on high.  And He led them out as far as to Bethany, and He lifted up His hands, and blessed them.  And it came to pass, while He blessed them, He was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.  And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:  And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing Elohim. Amen.

Acts 2:38-47  Shim’on said to them, Repent and be immersed, each man of you, in the Name of YHWH Y’shua for the remission of sins, that you might receive the gift of the Ruach HaKodesh.  For the promise is to you, and to your sons and to all that are afar off, even as many as our Elohim shall call.  And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.  Then many of them gladly received his word were immersed: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand nefeshot (souls).

Let us number our days and look ahead, let us be unified in thought, deed and in purpose, let Judgment run down as Waters, and Righteousness as a Mighty River.

Shalom U’Vrachot,

Baruch Ben Daniel
